In 1989 Frank Pollifrone founded Authentic Impressions, a sports marketing and publishing company, working with football legends Joe Montana, Dwight Clark, NFL Properties, and the San Francisco 49ers, creating several of their most successful marketing campaigns. Authentic Impressions gained national recognition and visibility throughout the 90’s by working with Upper Deck Authenticated and American Express promotional programs.
In 1997, Frank Pollifrone served as one of the original 4 founders of HCorp as Vice President of Marketing. He spearheaded the interactive television creation and branding of The Hospital Network (now Allen Technologies). Today Hcorp, is the leader in interactive television services to patients and providers across the U.S. Furthermore, Pollifrone has provided his creative marketing expertise for many high profile companies such as: Atari, Avis Car Rentals, 3Com, Disney, Forbes Magazine, ABC/KGO San Francisco, Oracle Corporation, Microsoft, Red Sky Films-Interactive, San Francisco 49ers, and Sony.
Pollifrone today continues to work with celebrity endeavors in the NFL as well as the music industry. Currently Frank is working with legendary eight-time Grammy nominated composer and musician Peter Wolf of Frank Zappa and Jefferson Starship and Tommy Funderburk, former lead singer of the legendary group, Boston and AirPlay with David Foster. Frank is also part of the founding staff of Red Bird Cinema, with actor, Kevin Pollak, venture capitalist,
John Loar and St. Louis Cardinals manager, Tony La Russa. Together they are in movie preproduction of 3 Nights in August, based on Buzz Bissinger’s New York Times Bestselling book of the same name. Bissinger is the author of the movie hit, Friday Night Lights with Billy Bob Thorton.
Frank Pollifrone is a first-generation Italian-American born and raised in Silicon Valley and is happily married to his wife, Sylvia. Frank and Sylvia have two girls, Jessica 9 and Julianna 8. Frank graduated with top honors and holds a Bachelor of Science from San Jose State University and is an honorary member of the NFL Alumni.
